Thrive is a therapeutic approach to help support children with their emotional and social development. Thrive promotes emotional and social growth by building positive relationships between a child and their peers and helps them to explore and understand their feelings through various activities.
Thrive practitioners are fully trained and qualified. Their aim is to remove any barriers to learning or wellbeing and to have happy, healthy pupils. Thrive support can be requested by parents if a child is going through a particularly difficult time in their life or if they have concerns about their child's mental health or emotional wellbeing.
Our Thrive assistants, Mrs Oskar and Mrs Weston-Easby will help children learn and understand their emotions and respect feelings of those around them. Some of the areas they may work on include:
