We learn and GROW!

Year 1 have been busy learning about plants in Science and what they need to grow. They have planted their own seeds and are observing how their plants grow over time.

In maths, they have worked hard at counting in 2s, 5s and 10s. You could ask your child to sing you the songs they have learnt to help them.

English has brought the children many opportunities to explore new texts and think about what a front cover or title might tell us before we read the book and how to write a setting description using ambitious adjectives.

The children have had fun logging into the Chromebooks and learning about the parts of a computer. Their next step is to be able to design and create an algorithm.
