SATs the way to do it!

Year 6 have had a very busy half term; they have worked incredibly hard across all subject areas. Now that SATs are over, they will be spending some time on developing their writing skills.

They have been learning about WW2 and how it started and have created timelines to reveal what they have learnt. Similarly in Spanish, children are learning about WW2 and the impact it had particularly on women and children. We have made the most of the odd sunny afternoons this term and have given children opportunities to paint outdoors using poster paints and watercolours. We certainly have some terrific artists in Year 6!

We look forward to moving onto our science and swimming lessons next half term and giving our Year 6’s a memorable send off as we prepare them for secondary school.
