This term, Reception have been learning about adversity, courage and creative possibilities. We have linked these across our learning so far and the children have been using these throughout provision and in their writing.
In the three little pigs, the wolf blows down the houses so the children had a go at building their own brick houses as well building a ship like Ernest Shackleton.
During PSED, the children used resilience when their stacking cups fell down and kept going until they made a tower. In Maths, we have been doing addition and subtraction, making numbers in different ways and writing number sentences, the children have been brilliant.
