Baking up awareness...

Year 1 have been super busy this term! They have learnt all about Eglantyne Jebb in history and how she founded the amazing, 'Save the Children' charity.

The children made cakes and held their very own bake sale to raise money for this incredible cause. In Science, they have been looking at how the weather changes across the seasons. They have observed the weather and used scientific language across their observations.

In English, the children have been learning about persuasive speech and writing their own letters to encourage people to raise money for charity. We can't wait to see them be performed in class.
