Attendance during COVID-19

Now that school is widening the groups of pupils returning, normal reporting of attendance is expected. There is an expectation that pupils arrive on time and that parents contact us if their child is not attending.
This is especially important if your child or family member develops symptoms of COVID-19. Also if you are contacted by a contact tracer to say that you have been exposed to the virus, please inform school immediately.
There may be times where whole groups of children are sent home to self isolate, this is for the safety of everyone.
During this time it is parental choice to send your child when their year group returns, we respect your decision. All absence during this time is authorised and no penalty notices will be requested.
All children returning to school will need to have a completed COVID-19 Home School Agreement to support us in trying to minimise the risk to the children staff and community.
